Happiness - If It Makes You Happy, It Can't Be That Bad, Right??

So... This morning I decided to look at yesterday's paper and stumbled upon an entire section about HAPPINESS. Now... Its obviously an important topic in today's economical crisis climate which is precisely what the article's main premise centered itself upon. Furthermore, the article was supported by my next semester professor Andrew Ryder and Lise Dube another professor at school I might take...

The main point that I took away from the article was this...that if we cared as much about our relationships as we do our investment portfolios then we'd all might possibly be a little more satisfied and happier with our lives...

Like everything else in life theories are always easier said than done but perhaps this is something worth putting into practice.. I am determined to try it out.

I suppose the logical argument however is Sheryl Crow's famous lyric: if it makes you happy it can't be that bad... If caring about our relationships makes us happier then how bad could it be to start putting in effort??
