Textbook Life Lessons

"Unfortunately, life, unlike our clothing, does not come with labels attached, telling us what is going on and how we should respond." I mean really... why is my social psychology textbook so deep and giving me advice on life? How pathetic that I've actually gained some insight from a textbook.

So I've been in a bit of a funk lately, as I'm sure many of you have been made well aware... trying to put life in to perspective in the face of impending finals is no small feat, let me tell you. Anyhow, I've been doing my best to stay cheerful (hockey games, chocolate, more chocolate, lots of tv) and that tends to put a major crimp in the amount of homework that gets done and the number of chapters I get to knock off for my exams... Anyways, while finally sitting down and studying for SP, this quote made its way onto the page and into my readings... It took me off guard a little bit and distracted me from studying.

If only life was a little simpler or if only there was a handbook/guide that told me what to do in these types of situations. bah. Shitty mood. Joy.
Hopefully Florida in 2 weeks will return me to my former glory.
